UNDP’s Ocean Promise has committed to deliver at least 100 Ocean Innovations by 2030. Through the Ocean Innovation Challenge (OIC), UNDP provides financial support to ocean innovators of up to $250,000 for two years, mentors, and incubates innovative solutions that are transformational, scalable and replicable.

The first wave of three OIC Calls on (1) Marine Pollution Reduction, (2) Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture, and (3) Coastal and Marine Ecosystem Protection and the Blue Economy are funded by Sida and Norad.
