Mangrove Honey for Togo

Description

Togo's coastal fisheries support thousands, but incomes remain vulnerable, and mangrove forests are critically degraded. TMSU International introduces an innovative solution: empowering fisherfolk with beekeeping. This project provides hives, training, and market support, creating a new income stream for coastal families. Honey profits are dedicated to mangrove restoration, combating climate change while boosting biodiversity. This pilot project targets 100 families, demonstrating a unique model where coastal communities become protectors of both bees and their marine environment. Success here promises a replicable model for economic resilience and ecological regeneration across Togo.
