
The General Directorate of Captaincies and Coast Guard (DICAPI), WWF and the National Fisheries Society (SNP), have presented the Electronic Departure and Arrival System “TrazApp ”, an application that can be used by artisanal, industrial and fishing companies. smaller scale for their departure and arrival operations and that will facilitate and allow for more efficient processes and operations , explains the National Fisheries Society of Peru. This application also contributes to simplifying administrative procedures in the different ports of the country, "ensuring transparency in them, thus becoming a fundamental tool in the fight against corruption ," notes the SNP.
Cayetana Aljovín, president of the SNP, explains that “this digital tool, which has been the result of joint work between public and private institutions , will allow the authorities to have updated information in real time about the vessels that participate in fishing for a "better inspection , thereby becoming an ally in the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing." Furthermore, indicates the entity with the implementation of this application, the National Fisheries Society reaffirms its commitment to work in a coordinated manner with the authorities and other actors in the fishing sector to contribute to guaranteeing safety at sea and the care of underwater life ., as well as confronting illegal fishing that affects our ecosystems so much.
